About me
Janice Weddle has worked at Hendrix College’s Olin C. Bailey Library since 2017, where she oversees the library’s public services and the Library Associates program for student workers as the Associate Librarian for Instruction and Outreach. She has worked in libraries throughout her life, including her days as a “Library Helper” in elementary school and her work as both a student worker and the full-time Government Documents Assistant at her alma mater, Truman State University. She believes in the power of education, especially the liberal arts and sciences, to help people reach their full potential, and she appreciates that her role as a librarian lets her encourage that growth. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, traveling, and daydreaming about both while watching PBS programs.
